Buildbase FA Trophy- Second Round draw

By Ian Townsend

After Saturday's heroics, xx of our clubs found themselves in today's draw for the Second Round of the FA Trophy. Here's who they face next.

The draw for the next round of the FA Trophy was made this afternoon. Matches will be played on or around November 27th, with £3700 for the winners and £1000 for the losers.

There are a number of obvious highlights. Cheshunt travel to Chelmsford City of National League South, who will have not so fond memories of being knocked out by Aveley two years ago, whilst Felixstowe & Walton Utd host AFC Telford United, third from bottom of National League North.

Cray Wanderers welcome another National League side, Ebbsfleet United, currently third, whilst Binfield will entertain Bognor Regis Town's conquerors from yesterday, Truro City.

Canvey Island will be full of confidence as they welcome National League South Tonbridge Angels, whilst Brentwood Town will be delighted to renew acquaintances with Dulwich Hamlet.

Uxbridge travel to face National League South Chippenham Town, whose last encounter with Isthmian opposition saw them dumped out of the FA Cup by Hastings United, whilst our top side, Worthing, welcome our former title winners- and indeed, after two incomplete seasons technically still title holders- Dorking Wanderers.

Here's the draw:

17 Bishop’s Stortford v Leiston
19 Braintree Town v Bedford Town or Potters Bar Town
20 Chelmsford City v Cheshunt
22 Felixstowe & Walton United v AFC Telford United
