Dereham bring back two- and their fans start a crowdfunder

A returning pair for the Magpies- and a fundraising initiative from the terraces

Dereham Town have announced that Elliot Pride and Dion Frary have joined almost the whole of last season's squad in returning to the club for 2020-21.

Goalkeeper Elliott made thirty five appearances last season and is heading into his fourth campaign, whilst defender Dion wasn't far behind him with thirty two. Apart from a brief interlude at Kings Lynn Town, Dion has been with the Magpies for much of the last five years, so he isn't much of a Wanderer despite his name (you might have to be rather venerable to understand that reference!).

Away from squad building, supporters of the club yesterday launched a crowd funding campaign designed to help cover costs created by the coronavirus pandemic, and it had already reached a quarter of its target within twenty four hours.
