FA Trophy to restart before the League campaign

The FA have announced how then plan to ensure they catch up in the FA Trophy- by playing three rounds in a fortnight. The action returns on Tuesday 8th December, but could return as early as Saturday 5th dependent on clubs agreeing. See below for all the news you need.

First Round Proper

Tuesday 8 December as the default date. Clubs can play on Saturday 5 OR Sunday 6 December providing both Clubs are in agreement. Any postponed matches would need to be rescheduled within the five-day Postponement Window (i.e. on or before Sunday 13 December).

The fixtures, with dates to be confirmed, are as follows:

Aveley v Hastings United
Merstham or Carshalton Athletic v Barking
Lowestoft Town v Cheshunt
Haringey Borough v Bishop’s Stortford or Brentwood Town
Margate v Burgess Hill Town
Corinthian-Casuals v Walton Casuals
Hornchurch v Wingate and Finchley
Marlow or Berkhamsted v Nuneaton Borough
Uxbridge or Hayes & Yeading Utd v Cray Wanderers
Leatherhead v Felixstowe and Walton Utd
Enfield Town v Maldon and Tiptree
Salisbury v Bracknell Town
Thame Utd v Bognor Regis Town

Winners take £3000, runners up £775.

Second Round Proper

Tuesday 15 December as the default date. Any postponed matches must be rescheduled within the five-day Postponement Window (i.e. on or before Sunday 20 December).

Third Round Proper

Saturday 19 December as the default date. Any postponed matches must be rescheduled within the five-day Postponement Window (i.e. on or before Thursday 24 December).
