Goldsmith commits to United

Hastings continue to confirm last season's squad

Hastings United have announced that Marcus Goldsmith, who joined the club from Eastbourne Town in August last year, has signed on for the 2021-22 season. Marcus made nine appearances for United in our last, curtailed, season.

Marcus has spent two seasons at Eastbourne Town in the SCFL before moving to Pilot Field, moving to the Saffrons from SCEFL side Crowborough Athletic. He previously played for Hailsham Town.

United manager Chris Agutter stated:

“Marcus was a key member of the club’s recent success. He is young, hungry and committed and I have no doubt that Marcus will build on the impact that he made last season and continue on an upward curve in a Hastings United shirt. Above all he is a top man who fits the ethos of the team.”
