Grays Athletic seal return of McQueen

Defender is no longer a Hawk

Grays Athletic yesterday announced the return to the club of defender Jack McQueen, who left the club in late summer to join Pitching In South Central side Harlow Town.

Jack made thirty three appearances for Jim Cooper's men last season- including one where he was wearing the number nine shirt, so perhaps he has hidden talents as a striker? Mind you, he didn't score in that match, as his side went down three-nil to Bedfont Sports in the FA Trophy, so perhaps not!

He came through the youth ranks at fellow South Central side Barking, joining the first team squad at the end of the 2017-18 season and going on to play a much fuller part in proceedings during 2018-19.

He's made seven appearances for the Hawks this season.
