Gulls on the telly

Canvey Island's FA Cup exploits this season have introduced them to a whole new audience- but they'll get to increase that audience yet further on Monday 30th November, as they host Boreham Wood in the Second Round of the FA Cup- as the match will be shown live on BT Sport. Kick off will be at 7.45 PM.

The Gulls, who have so far defeated Ware, Dereham Town, Biggleswade, Bedfont Sports, Cray Wanderers and Banbury United, face a Boreham Wood side who are currently thirteenth in the National League. They defeated Southend United on penalties after a three-all draw in the First Round, entering in the round before when they defeated Wimborne Town.

Both clubs will receive a live broadcast fee of £37,500- but sadly no spectators will be allowed, except from the comfort of their armchairs.
