Hastings boss signs on for two more years

Agutter to remain at Pilot Field

Hastings United have announced that manager Chris Agutter has signed a new contract, committing his future to the club for the next two seasons.

United are currently top of the Pitching In Isthmian South East Division, and of course were also top when last season came crashing to a premature end. They reached the Playoffs the season before that, losing to Ashford United in the Semi Final as Horsham went on to join Cray Wanderers in our top flight.

Speaking to the club website, the manager explained:

“I am really pleased to have the opportunity to continue working hard for Hastings United over the next two seasons. The success we have achieved to date could not have been done without Andrew Brown, Peter Heritage and the rest of the staff who I hope will remain by my side as we continue this journey.

A special thank you to the whole team, who if it wasn’t for their consistent effort, commitment and performance, I wouldn’t have been in a position to be offered another two years as the club’s manager. The lads make the experience so enjoyable and worthwhile."
