K's and Casuals to battle for points and combine for charity

Football and charity come together at King George's Field

On Saturday 21st December Kingstonian host Corinthian-Casuals at King George's Field- but for once their is far more than three points and local bragging rights at stake, as both sides combine to support local charities.

Each club has selected a borough-based charity: Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) and Kingston Carers Network (KCN). They will be holding a bucket collection, and the cash made from the 50/50 draw and the Golden Goal competition will also be added to the pot, with every penny raised split evenly between the charities.

They would also be grateful if you could bring along some food or clothing for the homeless, and have provided a list below of what they'd particularly like. Those donating will receive a mince pie and entry into a free prize draw as a thank you. Please bring:

- Pot Noodles
- Tea / Coffee / Sugar
- Used men's coats / jackets
- New or clean 'used' sleeping bags but must be in their sleeves
- New or used rucksacks (ideally 60L so a sleeping bag can comfortably fit)
- New men's 'trunks' underwear (Size M or L)
- New socks

After the match there will be party for all in the clubhouse.

Gates open at 1.30 pm and kickoff for the match is 3pm. Admission is £10 adults, £6 concessions (Over 60’s disabled people and carers). Students, with valid ID £4 and Under 18s are FREE.
