League cup quarter-final draw

By David Watters

Kingstonian are waiting for their next opponents in the Alan Turvey Trophy sponsored by Robert Dyas to book their berth after the draw for the quarter-finals of the Isthmian League Cup was made on Thursday.

With the outcome of seven other third round ties still to be decided, the K's are the only side already through after their 2-1 win over Farnborough in the last round. The Ryman Premier side, who knocked out holders Hendon in the second round, will travel to either top flight rivals Leiston or Great Wakering Rovers in the competition's last eight.

Grays Athletic, last season's losing finalists to the Greens at Whyteleafe's Church Road, will travel to either Brightlingsea Regent or Enfield Town if they can overcome Wingate & Finchley at the Harry Abrahams Stadium later this month.

The Isthmian League Cup was sponsored for the first time two seasons ago by Robert Dyas, a subsidiary of the Isthmian League's title sponsors Ryman, and was renamed the Alan Turvey Trophy before the start of this season in tribute to former Ryman League chairman and current president Alan Turvey.
