Lilywhites Director raises money for NHS charities by...encouraging sillyness!

Marc Leader has created the 'Lads without Sport' and 'Ladies without Sport' Facebook pages, and is raising money for 'NHS Charities Together.'

Faversham Town Commercial Director Marc Leader, concerned that people who don't have football in their lives at the moment might get a little bored, has been fending off his own-and your- boredom by watching grass grow, watching paint dry, trying to be the new Joe Wicks, and raising money for NHS Supporting charities.

He has set up Facebook Pages entitled, 'Lads Without Sport' and 'Ladies without Sport,' and has also set up a Just Giving Page which you can find HERE:

He explains:

I started a group lads without sport on the 14th March 2020, to bring a bit of humour to my various friends during the start of the extremely worrying times due to CONVID-19, and was only expecting about 20 people to be on it. I cannot believe that now lads without sport and ladies without sport have a combined membership of nearly 3000 fantastic people, and everyone contributes to bringing smiles to homes. All of us on the groups are aware of the stress and bravery of our NHS workers, Emergency Services and other essential people working to keep us safe in the UK and off course around the world. I hope that this Just Giving page will help contribute to the real heroes.

If you are reading this please feel free to join the groups lads without sport or ladies without sport and become what I believe to be a very very big Family. You can also view clips on youtube ladswithoutsport, follow on twitter @ladswithoutsport, send emails to ladswithoutsport2020@gmail.com and off course Instagram ladswithoutsport.

On behalf of the family that is lads and ladies without sport thank you all for checking this page out and of course for your much needed donations.'

NHS Charities Together represents 250 NHS charities across the UK, most of them focused on helping our hospitals do more. Collectively these charities give £1 million every day to the NHS so that people can stay well for longer and get better faster.

By the way, if Joe Wicks really isn't your thing, try Marc's version of a fitness video, here.
