Put a name on a Geordie stand

Hanwell Town raffle off stand naming rights- perhaps you might want to name it after Alan Shearer!

The Alan Shearer Stand? The Kevin Keegan End? If one of Hanwell Town's new legion of north-east supporters happens to win their raffle, perhaps that might not be too far fetched!

The Geordies have announced that for five pounds a ticket you can have the chance to rename one of their stands. That isn't the only prize on offer, by the way, the more tickets you buy the more you get back.

If you spend twenty pounds on the 'Mini Geordie bundle' you will receive 5 tickets, a free drink at a Hanwell Town Match or a black and white scarf.

If you spend fifty pounds on the 'Medium Geordie bundle' you will receive 12 tickets, free entry to one Hanwell Town match, a free drink and a 10% discount in the club shop.

For one hundred pounds you get the 'Jumbo Geordie bundle' and receive 25 tickets, as well as full hospitality for one match-which includes entry, food and drink throughout the day. You also get a 25% discount in the club shop.

So there you go. You don't have to be a Hanwell Town fan or a Newcastle United fan to enter, and you might want to name the stand after yourself, your business, or perhaps a charity- so long as the name isn't offensive or political it will work. But you can't call it the 'Mackems are the Greatest' Stand, we've checked!
