Brightlingsea Regent yesterday announced three new arrivals, as they prepare for the restart of football on December 12th (we hope).
Regent have signed giant defender Chris Ribchester from FC Clacton, striker Max Booth from Coggeshall Town, and midfielder Kyelan Marvell, also from FC Clacton.
Chris, who is around nine feet ten (actually six feet five, but who's counting?), played for Clacton one hundred and seventy six times, scoring a more than useful twenty six goals. He previously played for Heybridge Swifts, and last season played for Felixstowe and Walton United, albeit only once.
Max has made ten appearances for the Seed Growers this season, and two at the end of the last campaign, after moving there from Cambridge City. He previously played Isthmian football for Needham Market, and also spent time with Ipswich Town.
Kyelan has played more than three hundred times at the seaside. He previously played for Colchester United.
