Lewes announce a managerial departure

Lewes have confirmed the departure of manager Hugo Langton by mutual consent.

Hugo has been with the club for thirteen months, encompassing two enormously interrupted campaigns. Originally he came in only to work until the end of the 2019-20 season, but has remained longer to see the club through the pandemic.

Chair Stuart Fuller, speaking to the club website, stated:

“Hugo answered the call when we needed help in February 2020 and has worked diligently behind the scenes for the club in the last twelve months, not just on First Team Management duties but helping in many other aspects. I’ve known Hugo for well over a decade and know that his skills and expertise in the game will be put to good use in the future.”
