Midfielder Charlie departs the Blues for the Pakex

Potters Bar Town have announced the signing of Wingate and Finchley midfielder Charlie Ruff.

Charlie made thirty one appearances for the Blues last season, scoring a rather impressive nine goals, returning to the club last September from Kings Langley as one of manager Spencer Knight's first signings after taking over. He'd only left Summers Lane at the end of 2018-19, a campaign during which he played nineteen times.

Previously with Hertford Town, Charlie was a member of the England Representative XI which flew to the Falkland Islands for a number of matches in November 2018. His former manager at Kings Langley, Dean Barker, said of his latest move:

'One of the best young players in non league football right now. Showed that with goals and assists at KLFC and that’s why we picked him for the England squad that went to the Falkland Islands.'
