See 'inside' the Lilywhites new home

Work is progressing well on a new home for Cambridge City- and they've released a video tour!


Cambridge City and their fans are finally looking forward to having a home of their own once more. The club and its supporters, whom during the last decade saw their ground at Milton Road effectively (and so it turned out, fraudulently) sold from under them, and subsequent ground shares with St Ives Town and Histon, have been following progress of the building of their new ground at Sawston with interest- as have the rest of us. Well now we can all take a closer look, as the club have released video showing progress so far.

Presented by director Chris Cox, it is effectively a tour of a building site, but entirely engrossing nonetheless. Work is proceeding at great speed, and whilst dodging the JCB's Chris points out where everything will go and brings to life a muddy field so well that you can almost imagine three thousand supporters cheering for the Lilywhites.
