Two more announced by Hullbridge

Shortly after we wrote about a number of signings for Hullbridge Sports, the club decided that we'd relaxed for long enough and added two more. This duo are Dan Walker and Matt Baxter.

Dan moved to Sports in late January after leaving Great Wakering Rovers. He started his career as a Youth and Under 23 player at Southend United, a period during which he spent time on loan at Aveley, then joined Heybridge Swifts in September 2018, and was an important part of the side which reached- and won- the 2018-19 North Division Playoff Final, making thirty two appearances and scoring seven goals, including a superb opener against Aveley in the Playoff Semi-Final.

He made five appearances for Swifts last season, scoring once, before moving to Great Wakering Rovers in late October. He got three goals in eight matches for Sports.

Matt was an important part of Sports Essex Senior League title win in 2018-19, and the midfielder started last season with the club- making seventeen appearances- before becoming upwardly mobile and joining Premier Division Bishop's Stortford in December. He previously played for Cambridge City and Brightlingsea Regent.
