A new stand for Waltham Abbey
Waltham Abbey have been very busy since football came to an end, and yesterday unveiled their latest work- a new stand, ready for the return of football (whenever that might be).
The club explained:
'Chairman John Martin commissioned the new covered stand behind the goal at the turn of 2020 and apart from a tidy up the stand is now complete behind the clubhouse goal.
It is a much welcomed addition for when we return, the temporary scaffold stand now abolished to the history books. With our ever growing fan base now, it is hoped we can generate some real fan noise for the team from behind the goal!'
