Swifts Sportsmen

Heybridge Swifts have announced the signing of Tim Monsheju and Courtney Homans from North Division rivals Hullbridge Sports.

Forward Tim was a scholar with Arsenal, alongside Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry, before moving on to the Dagenham and Redbridge Academy. After leaving the Daggers he turned out for Chelmsford City and Witham Town, where he was the top scorer in 2016-17, scoring sixteen and setting up eleven more. He played briefly for Swifts during 2017-18; and after that turned out for Wingate and Finchley, making twenty six appearances during 2018-19.

He played thirty two times for Sports last season, scoring four goals.

Full back Courtney made twenty five appearances for Sports last season. A former West Ham United youth product, he previously played for Hornchurch, Leatherhead, Redbridge and Stansted. He was part of Sports Essex Senior League promotion winners of 2018-19.
