Three more turns on the managerial merry-go-round

Molesey, Met and Witham announce managerial changes

Yesterday was filled with player movements, but today it's managers- as Met Police unvail their replacement for Jim Cooper whilst Witham Town and Molesey part company with their kings of the dugout.

This morning the boys in blue confirmed that Gavin Macpherson would be the new manager at Imber Court, retaining his backup team of Jon Nurse and Scott Tarr. The club were clear that this would provide continuity at a difficult time, given their pending move to the Southern League if their appeal does not succeed. You can read more on that appointment here.

Witham Town, meanwhile, were mourning the departure of their manager Adam Flint, and his assistant James Robinson. The duo are to take over at Bishops Stortford, and as such will remain in the Bostik League, albeit the Premier Division, as Stortford move over to us as part of the FA reorganisation. This story isn't yet on the club website, but here's a link to how it broke in the local paper.

Finally, Molesey have confirmed the departure of their manager Peter Lelliot. Peter has been involved at the club for seventeen years, and you can read the club statement here.
