Two hat tricks for the Seed Growers

By Ian Townsend

Three goals for Sam Bantick, and three debutants for Coggeshall Town

Coggeshall Town's four-one victory over Hullbridge Sports last night came not only with a Sam Bantick hat trick but a hat trick of Seed Growers debutants.

Dean Ager, who managed both to score and assist, came in from Brightlingsea Regent, where he has already made seven appearances this season. Dean joined Regent in the summer, and Isthmian watchers might remember him from earlier spells with Bishop's Stortford and Maldon & Tiptree. He spent a little time last season playing at Mersea Island FC.

Joshua Pollard has most recently been playing for one of our former clubs, Needham Market- these days in the Pitching In Southern Premier. He left the marketmen last week for "reasons outside of football"- but he obviously hasn't given up the beautiful game as he wore the number eight shirt last night. Josh came through the Academy at Colchester United, and has also played for Harlow Town and Maldon & Tiptree.

Tariq Issa, a forward, has also been with Needham Market. Another Colchester United graduate, he also had some time at Maldon & Tiptree. He made his debut in the number eleven shirt last night.
