Watt back at Hythe

By Ian Townsend

Cannons go back for the future

Hythe Town have announced the return of Steve Watt as first team manager.

Steve departed the club in November, having been in charge at Reachfields since September 2019. He departed with his side in eleventh place- coincidentally the same place they occupied when his first season, 2019-20, came to a premature end. He was previously in charge at Margate, and had a spell in charge at Maidstone United.

Steve was an uncompromising defender during his playing career, starting life at Aberdeen and Chelsea as a youth before playing for Ross County, Grimsby Town, Maidstone United and Dover Athletic, amongst others.

Keep an eye on the Cannons website as he is to announce his backroom team over the next few days.
