East Thurrock United this morning announced that manager Paul Martin had strengthened his squad for the forthcoming Pitching In Isthmian Premier campaign. In come Michael Agboola, Zenon Stylianides and Anointed Chukwu.

Zenon returns from Cyprus. The midfielder came through the Spurs Academy and played for the club right up to Under 23 level, before spending a season at QPR prior to leaving Loftus Road at the end of the 2017-18 season. Since then he's been in the Mediterranean, playing for Omonia Aradippou on the outskirts of Larnaca. The club are in the Cypriot Second Division.

Anointed Chukwu is a forward who comes from the Salford City Academy. He played for Crystal Palace Under 16's and was scouted by several Premier Division clubs, having a trial at Southampton, before moving to the club financed by a collection of Manchester United old boys. He had a loan spell with Widnes last season which saw him score seven goals in fifteen Northern League North West appearances, and also got three in seven on loan to Ramsbottom United in the same division.
