The former Great Wakering Rovers midfielder, pictured, agreed a two year extension with manager Jamie Godbold over the weekend as he sets about preparing for next season in the Ryman's top flight.
Named as Godbold's player of the season at Sudbury's recent awards night, the 28-year-old is currently fourth on the club's all time list of appearance makers with 330 to his name and is now looking to overtake Paul Betson's total of 376.
Since arriving at the Wardale Williams Stadium from Rovers back in 2008, the club's longest serving player has netted 33 goals.
Sudbury's skipper was following in the footsteps of former Lowestoft Town keeper Marcus Garnham who also agreed a new deal last week.
The players' and supporters' player of the year signed a one year deal after returning to the club last October. Garnham had made 70 appearances and kept 30 clean sheets during his AFC Sudbury career.
