Dulwich Hamlet are hoping supporters will help them support a local foodbank on Saturday when they host Grays Athletic in the Ryman Premier at Champion Hill.
Community-minded officials at Hamlet are appealing for fans to bring along foodstuffs and toiletries in particular, to donate to the Southwark Foodbank.
Founded in 2009 by Pecan, a Christian organisation started by local churches, the charity helped to feed nearly 5,000 of the most vulnerable people in Peckham last year.
In a statement on their website, Hamlet said: "All non-perishable goods and foodstuffs are welcomed. The Southwark Foodbank does vital work all over our borough and the club will be providing both a collection point inside the ground and a bucket for monetary donations."
Hamlet say they will also be offering free admission at the weekend to Southwark Footbank clients, their voluntary workers and their families.
