Hillians sign Harding- as usual

Ten in a row for Burgess Hill's Peter Pan

Burgess Hill Town's Pat Harding must have a portrait hidden in his attic that ages every year, as only that would account for the fact that he never seems to get any older!

Harding has agreed to start his tenth season at the Green Elephants Stadium- the Hillians first confirmed signing for 2020-21- and nobody is at all surprised. After all, when he first pulled on his boots there David Cameron was still Prime Minister, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two was our top grossing movie, and Ed Sheeran was celebrating his first hit. None of those facts are connected.

Pat used to be a striker- these days he is more of a midfielder- but he is still one of the first names on Jay Lovett's teamsheet, and was once more the Hillians top appearance maker in 2019-20, playing thirty four times. Can he do even better in 2020-21? You wouldn't want to bet against it.

He previously played for Whitehawk, Horsham, Eastbourne Borough and Hassocks- although nobody can remember that far back.
