Robins move on up- whilst Borough and the Urchins cancel each other out

Our round up of Monday night's action

After five consecutive league draws, Carshalton Athletic have finally remembered how to win over the last three days, following Saturday's victory at Cheshunt with a two-nil triumph over Brightlingsea Regent at Colston Avenue last night. Regent had no such good news to celebrate, and have now taken only one point from their last thirty, form which has seen them plummet down the table to one place off the bottom.

A goal in each half eased the Robins to victory. Jerry Amoo got the first, after twenty five minutes, and any hope the visitors might have had of a comeback ended eight minutes from time when Ricky Korboa got his ninth of the season. You can find the programme from that match here.

That victory sends the Robins up to eighth, two points and two places above a Haringey Borough side who must have thought that they were about to go higher still when Dimitri Froxylias put them ahead against Hornchurch in the seventy fifth minute. Those hopes- and the lead- lasted only sixty seconds, however, Charlie Stimson drawing the Urchins level with his ninth goal of the season. Hornchurch go third, six points behind leaders Horsham.

We also had one match in the Velocity Trophy. Aveley hosted Barking in Group Two, and it was the visitors who ran out the victors, goals from Eddie Allsopp on the quarter hour and Nana Yiadom five minutes after the break enough to give the Millers the Blues.

You can find the programme from that match here.

We've a number of matches tonight. We'll preview them later, but you can find the list here.
