A Daly signing for the Rams

Goalkeeper signs on at the Southwood Stadium

Ramsgate have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Brannon Daly, who played under boss Matt Longhurst at East Grinstead Town.

Brannon will be no stranger to those who watch the Isthmian League, because as well as spending time as a Wasp he has also played for Merstham, Walton Casuals, Horsham, Met Police, Kingstonian, Staines Town, Corinthian-Casuals and Ashford Town. He made nineteen appearances for the Wasps last season.

Speaking to the club website, Longhurst was obviously delighted with his new signing.

“Brannon is a top keeper who I enjoyed working with back when I was with East Grinstead. He’s won this league before with Merstham, whilst he’s also played for Met Police, Kingstonian, Walton Casuals and others.

The level of experience he has at this level is incredible and the quality he will bring to our side is exciting. What a coup for the club - a perfect fit!”

Away from being a goalkeeper for the Rams, Brannon works as a goalkeeping coach within Arsenal's Academy setup.
