A new midfielder for Faversham...

By Ian Townsend

...and one more returns

Faversham Town boss James Collins has confirmed two midfielders for next season, as Tom Loynes returns and Grant Brown arrives.

Former Sittingbourne man Tom- he made more than one hundred and fifty appearances for the Brickies- arrived as a Lilywhite in November, feeling he was not getting enough game time at Woodstock Park. He certainly saw plenty of action with Town, making eighteen appearances between the end of November and our season crashing to an end.

Grant has played for Collins previously, most recently when the Lilywhites boss was in charge of Chatham Town. He started his career in Scotland with Motherwell, and his new manager (!) speaks very highly of him, explaining that "I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for some of the performances he put in for me in my early years of management."
