A pair of Hillians

Daniel Uchechi and Lewis Finney sign on for Burgess Hill Town

Burgess Hill Town have announced the return to the club of Daniel Uchechi, and the arrival of Lewis Finney.

Daniel joined the club for the first time in March 2020, from Hornchurch. He started his career at Charlton Athletic, moved to West Ham, and whilst playing in Nigeria had loans at Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday. He played in Scotland for Aberdeen, spent some time in Sweden, and in recent years has played for Boreham Wood, Hendon, Hampton and Richmond Borough, Cray Wanderers and South Park, before his time with Hornchurch. He also played international football for Nigeria at Under 20 and Under 23 level. He made six appearances for East Grinstead Town last season.

Lewis has become something of a legend at Lancing in a rather short time, scoring goal after goal, including forty nine during the unfinished 2019-20 season. He previously played for Haywards Heath Town, during the 2018-19 season, and has also played for Eastbourne Town, amongst others.
