Another Terror climbs the ladder

Ghandour is the latest member of the Tooting production line to turn professional

Tooting and Mitcham United's Hady Ghandour has become the latest Isthmian to join the professional ranks, as he has signed a contract with Charlton Athletic.

Hady came through the youth sides at Imperial Fields, and has impressed at all levels. He broke into the first team squad during 2018-19, and last season began to attract attention from those at the top end of national game, heading to Charlton on trial not long before the lockdown. His four goals in one match against Chertsey Town might have helped a little!

He joins former team mate Abraham Odoh at The Valley, and of course the Terrors have also seen a collection of Hady and Abraham's former teammates go on to professional success, with winger Isaiah Jones and right-wing back Samuel Folarin at Middlesbrough and centre-back Lexus Beeden at Reading.

We featured an Interview with Hady, courtesy of Charlie Rowe, back in April- and you can read it here. A Terrors fan page, South London is Black and White, have also written an excellent piece in the player, which you can find here.

We'd like to wish Hady the best of luck in his professional career, and we're sure he'll become the latest in a long line of former Isthmians to grace the upper echelons of the game.
