Cheshunt add firepower and creativity

Ambers sign Scholars forward

Cheshunt were in second place when last season was brought to a premature close, and manager Craig Edwards expects to challenge at the right end of the table once more when we kick off again. His squad building continued yesterday with the signing of Potters Bar Town forward Ken Charles.

Ken managed a goal every three games for the Scholars last season, after signing from Enfield Town in the summer. Whilst with Town he scored thirteen goals and assisted many more, in thirty eight appearances during 2019-20.

Prior to his time with the Towners, he was a professional with Colchester United, playing for the Under 23 squad. He previously played for Erith Town and for the Under 18 squad at Maidstone United.
