Worthing have announced a number of impressive signings of late, and last night another arrived as midfielder Dean Cox was announced.
Dean has spent the last few years elsewhere in Sussex, turning out for Eastbourne Borough in the National League South. He moved to the Sports from Crawley Town, but was better known for his time with Leyton Orient- more nearly three hundred appearances- and at Brighton and Hove Albion, where he played almost two hundred times and was a teammate of the Mackerel Men's manager, Adam Hinshelwood.
Adam told the club website:
“Coxy brings a wealth of experience to the group and will add some quality in wide areas of the pitch.
He seems to be a popular player with the fans at every club he has been at and I’m sure the Worthing fans will enjoy watching him”.
