Do you know a Local Hero?

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Non League game, and we're looking to turn the focus on five of them for a short series to be published in the first week of February 2020.

Does your Pitching In Isthmian League club have a local hero? We're looking for volunteers whose dedication to their club is unsurpassed. We'd like to interview them after Christmas, to find out what makes their club quite so important in their lives and how that relationship came about, and to tell their football story.

Please get in touch with your nomination- it would also be helpful (but not essential) if you had their contact details- by emailing Ian via townsendaround@gmail.com and explaining why their efforts are so important to your club. We'll choose five and they will feature in February- and if we get more than five nominations we'll look to run a second series in June.
