Hawks bring in Rooks number one

A new keeper for Whitehawk

Whitehawk have announced the signing of Lewes keeper Nathan Stroomberg, as a replacement for usual stopper James Broadbent, who has stepped away from football due to work commitments.

Nathan has been a mainstay of the Lewes defence for the last two seasons, but has been at the club- working with Hawks manager Ross Standen- for a number of years, despite being just twenty two years old. He played nine times for the Rooks last season before its early end, and forty times during the 2019-20 season, which of course also ended early. Perhaps he might get a full season under his belt next time around!

He made his debut for Lewes as far back as the start of the 2015-16 season, and has also spent time out on loan at Hassocks and Saltdean United.
