Lamont for Leatherhead

By Ian Townsend

K's midfielder moves over to Fetcham Grove

Leatherhead's strengthening under their new management team has continued, as yesterday they announced the signing of Kingstonian midfielder Aaron Lamont. He will receive rather a baptism of fire as the Tanners, in last place in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division, travel to face leaders Worthing on Saturday.

Aaron has played twenty five times for the K's this season- his third spell with the club.

He came through the youth setup at Queens Park Rangers, from where he moved to Hampton and Richmond Borough, and his periods in red and white have come interspersed with spells at Truro City, Braintree Town and our former orange favourites Walton Casuals. He also had a period with Ramsgate which saw him play twenty two times during the 2019-20 season- mainly as a number eight, but also rather confusingly as a number nine on one occasion, a draw with Faversham Town.
