Leatherhead start a manager hunt once more

By Ian Townsend

Bosh! Bash goes!

Leatherhead have announced the departure of their manager, Mustafa Bashkal, usually known as Bash. He follows joint manager Adam Simpson and Head of Recruitment Qayum Shakoor, both of whom left in the last three weeks, out of the Fetcham Grove exit door.

A club statement simply says:

'The club can confirm that Bash has decided to step down from his role as first team Manager.

We would like to thank Bash and his team for their efforts over the last few months and wish them well for the future.

A further update will be made in due course regarding the managerial position.'

It's less than two months since former boss Nikki Bull departed, and since then the Tanners have taken five points from twenty seven.
