Mackerel Men have half a million reasons to be happy

That's the cost of Worthing's ground improvements- and as you'll see, everything looks fab!

Worthing have just completed half a million pounds worth of ground improvements at their Crucial Environmental Stadium ready for the new season, which we hope will kick off in August. A new state of the art floodlight system, a new North East corner to enable match day crowd segregation- with a new turnstile entrance and refreshment/toilet block, upgraded changing rooms and- of course- a brand new all weather 3G pitch have all been delivered, so there should be no further instances of the pitch problems that have dogged the club during the last few years (although it must be said that pitch problems didn't seem to hamper their performances all that much).

The cash came from grants and community fundraising, and you can see the results below:
