New boss for the Swans

Staines announce their new manager

Staines Town have been without a manager since Paul Barnes departed in early January, but the position has now been filled, with the appointment of Mick Woodham.

Mick was the man in charge of Windsor FC for many years, and has also spent time at Bracknell Town. Most recently he has been at Slough Town.

Chairman Kevin Rowell explained:

“I am very excited to be working with Mick as we face the challenge of returning to football following a long lay-off. We had a number of excellent applicants for the post, and Mick greatly impressed us with his solid work ethic and his deep understanding of the game at our level”.
