Ramadan for Bay

Herne Bay announce former Gate, Invicta and Angels wide man Adem Ramadan

Herne Bay last night confirmed the signing of former Margate, Tonbridge Angels and Folkestone Invicta winger Adem Ramadan.

Ramadan was a big part of Tonbridge Angels' promotion to the National League in 2018-19, playing a colossal fifty one times and scoring three goals, whilst assisting a much higher number. He left Longmead for Hartsdown Park, where he turned out forty one times, scoring nine goals. Last season with Invicta was over almost before it started, but he still managed eleven appearances in stripes.

He previously played for Barking, Phoenix Sports and VCD Athletic, and had a long chunk- eighteen months- out with injury prior to joining Angels.

Boss Ben Smith told the club website:

"Adem will add a lot of creativity to the side and I’m looking forward to seeing him link up with the quality we already have in that area. We’ve needed to add goals from other areas of the pitch and he will help us to do this. He’s settled quickly in the group and I’m sure he will have a really positive impact at the club."
