Rocks bring in Janata

Orient keeper heads to East Thurrock

Late last night East Thurrock United announced that they'd signed goalkeeper Arthur Janata.

Arthur came through the Academy at Leyton Orient before earning his first professional deal, and has just left the club after twelve years- he was eight years old at the start of that! Isthmian supporters will undoubtedly remember him from his loan spell at Potters Bar Town last season- he made four appearances- his loan spell at Harlow Town last season, his loan spell at Bishop's Stortford in 2018-19, or perhaps his loan spell at Waltham Abbey, for whom he played fifteen times.

Or perhaps his loan spell at Romford, where he played for his new boss Paul Martin during 2017-18!

The player now coaches in the Academy at Brisbane Road, and will continue in that role.
