Seven Bridges

Some new players and some returning stars for Three Bridges

We told you last week that Three Bridges had signed up five of last season's squad- and now they've got a first eleven and a substitute, as the number of confirmed players is up to twelve. Here are details of the seven signings, including two new arrivals.

The two new players are Kyle Woolven and Luke Leppard. You might remember Kyle from his time at East Grinstead Town last season, where he made thirteen appearances, but more recently the young forward has been with Lancing. He also turned out for Newhaven alongside Lee Robinson- brother of Billericay Town striker Jake, who we're sure you'll remember, probably because you were on the wrong end of his shooting boots.

Luke, a striker, made a handful of appearances for Bridges last season, but pent most of the campaign with Crowborough Athletic. He also played for Greenwich Borough towards the end of the 2018-19 season, making ten appearances and scoring in their victory over Hythe Town and in defeat against Hastings United.

The returning players are John Lansdale, who made twenty two appearances last season and who previously played for Burgess Hill Town, Worthing and Whitehawk amongst others; Brannon O’Neill, the former Worthing, Dorking Wanderers, Burgess Hill Town and Whitehawk midfielder who made thirty one appearances last season; Lee Hall, another midfielder who also made thirty one appearances and who previously played for Tooting & Mitcham United and Guildford City; full back Giani Ashley, who played nine times after starting last season with Margate and has also played for Cambridge City and South Park; and right back Troy Williams, formerly of Tooting & Mitcham United, Merstham, Grays Athletic, Lewes, Horsham (loan) and Walton & Hersham.
