Small steps up to save K's

AN FA TROPHY was on the cards at Kingstonian on Sunday when Kieran Murphy’s own goal handed Ryman South club Eastbourne Town the lead immediately after half-time.

They stayed in front until 15 minutes from, time, when Wade Small levelled the scores, and Small struck again seven minutes later as K’s squeezed through 2-1. He is pictured (right) battling for the ball: picture courtesy of Andy Nunn.

It was tight at Lewes, too, where a single goal from Ben Godfrey right on half-time left Premier rivals Lowestoft with nothing to show for their 330-mile round-trip.
