Transfer catch up: Bowers and Pitsea

Millar and Shilling sign on at the Len Salmon

We're playing transfer catch up due to taking a summer (!) holiday, so here's some news from Bowers and Pitsea at the weekend.

Prior to Saturday's seven-nil thrashing of Leatherhead, Bowers and Pitsea announced two new arrivals. In on loan came Chris Millar, who you will remember from his time at Dulwich Hamlet, Maldon and Tiptree and Heybridge Swifts. Midfielder Chris comes in on loan from Concord Rangers, and came on from the bench with eighteen minutes left against the Tanners. It was six-nil by then!

Another player who emerged from the bench at the weekend was Sonny Shilling. The midfielder signed permanently from Basildon United, and has only been there a short time, playing onle once- in the FA Cup defeat to Stansted.

Sonny was at Scunthorpe United in his youth (actually, he's still in his youth now), and has since played for Great Wakering Rovers (2016-17) Romford (2017-18), Barkingside and Buckhurst Hill. We understand he can play on the wing or behind the striker.
