Wednesday night football

We've two matches tonight- far better than sitting on your sofa!

We've two matches in the Pitching In Isthmian League tonight, one in the South Central Division and the other in the South East.

In the South Central, Bedfont Sports get back to league action after their cup heroics. Sports currently sit in eleventh place in the table, but have only played four matches- that's half the number completed by every side in the top five. Given they're twelve points behind the three sides in the top three places, four wins will see them catch up! They last played a League match on September 11th- and now start a run of three home games in a row.

Sports opponents tonight are Sutton Common Rovers, who got back to winning ways at the weekend, defeating Northwood after three successive losses. The match kicks off at the end of the Heathrow runway at 7.45 PM.

In the South East Division, Sevenoaks Town host East Grinstead Town, that one kicking off at 7.30. Oaks have been in dreadful form, with five successive defeats in all competitions and only one win in eleven, that coming against Phoenix Sports on September 14th. You never know quite what you're going to get from the visiting Wasps, consistency still escaping them- but you can be sure that both sides are targeting this match for three points!
