Worman returns from U's to Blues

Cambridge midfielder is back at Stortford once more

On loan Cambridge United midfielder Ben Worman was one of the success stories of last season for Bishop's Stortford. After signing in January he went on to earn rave reviews for the Blues, and was an enormous part of their success, helping to inspire a turnaround in form which saw them narrowly miss out on a playoff spot that looked rather unlikely not too long beforehand.

At the end of our season he still had time to return to his parent club and play in a League Two draw against Macclesfield, but Stortford fans who enjoyed watching his twenty one matches and nine goals last season- including both in the crucial victory over Haringey Borough in March- will be delighted by the news that he has once more returned to the Prokit Stadium on loan. Still only seventeen, he will undoubtedly go on to bigger and better things in his professional career- but the Blues will hope he helps to fire them to promotion first!
