Sevenoaks confirm seven more

Since we last headed in the direction of Sevenoaks Town the club have confirmed another seven of last season's squad, with Dean Gunner, Bradley Schafer, Stefan Wright, Joey Taylor, Ben Bridle-Card, Kyle de Silva and Reece Deakin staying on.

Defender Dean, formerly of Dorking Wanderers, Merstham, Three Bridges and East Grinstead Town, made eight appearances last season and scored in the win at Ashford United.

Bradley is back from a lengthy spell on the sidelines that kept him out for all of last season- what there was of it- and much of the previous campaign- what there was of it. He was previously with Herne Bay. Stefan joined up last August, and previously played for the likes of Sittingbourne, Staines Town and other clubs not starting with S including Phoenix Sports and Greenwich Borough, whilst defender Joey was previously with Welling United, Burgess Hill Town, East Grinstead Town, Whyteleafe, Hythe Town, Horsham and Staines Town, winning promotion with the Hornets not too long ago.

Keeper Ben starts his fifth season with the club, now fit after missing most of 2019-20 (although we all missed most of 2019-20 for one reason or another, whilst midfielder Kyle, formerly of Crystal Palace, Notts County, Eindhoven and Bromley, is starting his third season.

Finally, Reece is starting season number two, although none of us saw much of season number one. He played five times last season, and was previously with the likes of Leatherhead and Greenwich Borough.
