Fans earn loyalty bonus from players

Witham Town's players have decided to reward the loyalty of their travelling fans by paying for their admission at Erith & Belvedere next month.

Town, second in the Ryman North table after five wins from six games on the road, meet the Deres on Sunday 17 November 17.

Manager Garry Kimble's squad credit their travelling support for much of their success away from Spa Road and Town's Commercial Manager Lee Murfet announced the offer on their behalf after Saturday's 3-0 FA Trophy exit at home to St Albans in the First Qualifying Round.

Murfet said: "The players have said they will club together cover the cost for entry for all travelling fans. We feel that this is a good gesture to make to our loyal fans who have followed us fantastically over the last three years."

He added: "Please keep up the great support, you make a big difference on match days and we are proud to have you behind us every week."
