Felixstowe join forces with Willy Wonka!

Seasiders hiding golden tickets around town to tempt locals on Bank Holiday Monday

Felixstowe and Walton United have had a wonderful first season in the Bostik League. Our seventh placed side have had some wonderful attendances, too, with over seven crowds in excess of four hundred, and a season high of six hundred and sixty three for their match against AFC Sudbury.

But for the visit of Mildenhall Town on Bank Holiday Monday they're aiming higher still- looking for a crowd of a thousand. And in an attempt to attract even more of the locals than usual to the Goldstar Ground, they've taken a leaf out of Willy Wonka's book and started hiding golden tickets!

Each one of these golden tickets will provide free entry for two people to the match, and they'll be distributed around the town over the next week or so. And even if you don't manage to find one, there'll be a free gift for the first one hundred children through the turnstiles- and it won't be an everlasting gobstopper!
