A Hawks duo

Muggeridge stays on, Shooman returns

Whitehawk have announced that captain Henry Muggeridge has agreed to remain with the club for the 2020-21 season- and that defender Harry Shooman has returned to the club after a season elsewhere.

Henry has been with the club for two years- well, one year and three hundred and sixty days, if you're being picky! The former Lewes and Crowborough Athletic midfielder made twenty four appearances last season as his side ended the campaign in fourth place in the South East Division, and forty five in the Premier Division the season before- scoring eight goals including a memorable hat trick on the last day against Corinthian-Casuals.

Harry was also a member of that Premier Division side, making nineteen appearances before heading off to play for Saltdean United in the Sussex Combination Football League- a move designed to give him more time to concentrate on his education and workload- he is a highly qualified coach despite his still tender years. The Hawks didn't want him to leave, and will be delighted to have him back.
