A pair of Rovers

Great Wakering Rovers last night announced two new arrivals- although one of them actually arrived almost a fortnight ago and has played three times!

Connor Hammond is the three time starter, having already played against Brentwood Town, AFC Sudbury and Hullbridge Sports. Connor previously played for Basildon United, and indeed has made eight appearances for the Bees this season.

He also played for Romford, making twenty three appearances and scoring three times during 2017-18, and another five appearances the following season, and prior to his time as a Bee was with Grays Athletic for a short time and also played for Stansted.

Tom Anderson moves over from Aveley, where he has been since the summer. He has also played for East Thurrock United, Basildon United, Hashtag United and Tilbury, amongst others, and indeed scored for the Millers in their four-nil win over Rovers back in August.
